Oh, sweetness. This is deft and dear and utterly charming, and I love it a lot.

This was completely delightful and lovely, and you even managed to throw in the drool-worthy image of Fraser on a motorbike while at Depot, so nice work! *g*

Really nice! I like:

Ray guessed it was progress of a sort that he'd let Stella go, but Fraser was another level of impossible altogether. Like, halfway up the Canadian Rockies on a ledge with a yeti impossible, or maybe it was more of a crevasse, and the more he struggled, the farther he fell.

and thought 'Well, I made the acquaintance of some young journalists who offered me a ride to Windsor in their helicopter, and then one of them was kind enough to lend me his motorcycle.'

was about perfect!

awww! a traditional Christmas love story...very sweet. I love the image of Fraser on a motorcycle in full Mountie reds--certainly an image that wouldn't have been out of place on the show!

oooh, 20 yr old Fraser on a motorcycle? Or, hell, Fraser of any age -- all wind-tousled and pink-cheeked. That is a glorious image! And I love the idea of Fraser sweet-talking a helicopter ride and the loan of a motorcycle to get all the way to Chicago to see his Ray. :)

Not to put too fine a point on it (great line!) I love this sweet little story. \o/
