i meant to get caught up on this year's dsss today, but instead i found myself poking around in previous years' and i am so glad that i did. what a wonderful post-COTW story! i love the pace of it, the way you've shown us the daily details of ray and fraser's adventure. it feels real, and i like ray's insistence that he learn everything fraser does. i also love the development of the relationship! this story has that exact feeling of solid partnership and affection that the show does, and the way they take it to the next level feels perfectly natural. wonderfully done!
OH! and my favorite line? the one i laughed at and said AWWWWW about?: "Perfect like the herd of shaggy ottomans and their little babies who never did a bad thing to nobody else in their whole lives, like Fraser." oh, fraser! oh, ray!
