Wow! Powerful story. I love that precarious edge when someone would do absolutely anything to save the life of a friend. You did a great job with this, keeping the characters true to canon while exploring the outer limits of personal integrity and motivation.

Oh wow, I'd never seen this one before (yaaay archive!). It answers one of those really obvious questions that was never addressed by canon, and wow. It isn't so terribly hard to see Fraser going to those lengths to protect his Rays, even if it is a bit chilling.
Very nice.
